Paul Johnston

Thanks for visiting the Entellium Web site! I hope you find the information we've presented here useful. Like all budding entrepreneurs, I started Entellium with the desire to change the world in some way. My goal was to build a suite of products that would empower smaller businesses to compete successfully with the big guys. The idea was simple—match or better the functionality of our competitors, offer a better value proposition and include free 24/7 support for every subscriber. The good news—it's working. We have maintained our focus on smaller businesses, and our customers love our support.

What's particularly exciting is that we have built a reputation for designing products that are both innovative and easy to use. For example, our Rave product line is the first on-demand CRM application delivered as a desktop product. The beauty of this is that you get all the benefits of the on-demand model—instant deployment, lower cost, seamless upgrades—and you get the fastest possible CRM experience, with your data available to you locally anytime anywhere. In addition, we've designed a cutting edge mobile application that one leading analyst has called the "iPod of the CRM industry. I call it "CRM Under One Thumb" because you can use it in one hand while holding a cup of coffee, your laptop or a plane ticket in the other.

A large part of my job at Entellium is to drive our product innovation. I believe there are many unmet, unarticulated needs in CRM and that on-demand delivery is just part of the picture. I believe that business software can learn from the video gaming industry. It should be "pick up and play" to the point that user adoption is never an issue. My passion is to reinvent CRM so that it truly makes our subscribers more successful, and it's fun to use. Our mantra at Entellium is "Don't build boring software." We're not fully there yet, but if you want to partner with a company that dares to innovate and believes that CRM isn't as useful and easy to use as it could be, then I think you will like Entellium.
